New Carseat Regulations
So have you heard the new car seat regulations yet. If not after you read my post, google it to learn more.
When I had Kenzie's seat inspected on Tuesday, the Sheriff told me of these regs that were just released. Here are a few high points.
-A child is to be in a rear facing car seat until the age of 2.
-A child needs to remain in a booster seat until they are 4'9". For some children they could be 12 or even 13!
I know these are because crash studies have proved these are the best positions, but it's still difficult for us as parents. The booster seat does allow a seat belt to fit properly (resting on the shoulder, across the chest and then across the lap) however.

Kenzie is 7 1/2 months old now. Time has flown by. Kenzie continues to amaze us every day. She loves to eat, just like her mommy and daddy. She likes her cereal and has tried yellow, orange and green veggies and recently started on some fruit. I can't really tell her favorites because she eats them all! I hope she remains a good eater.
This week Kenzie discovered the plastic Easter eggs. She loves to hold them. We have also moved her to a convertible car seat instead of the new carriers. By the way have you heard the new regulations on car seats. I'll post that tomorrow.

This weekend Kenzie got to spend a lot of time with Grandma and Grandpa K. I'm pretty sure she was spoiled even more that mommy and daddy spoil her.
On Friday evening Kenzie started crawlin/scooting backwards. It's so cute and she gets so frusterated because it makes her further and further away from her toys! I'll try to get a video of this soon.
Kenzie continues to enjoy her food. She has tried squash, sweet potatoes, carrots, peas and green beans. Next we'll be trying some fruit. She's a great eater and always wants more.
