A view of the Ploeger Pond as I came home from work yesterday. It was a beautiful sight to see geese enjoying the warm day too.

Progress

Heath is making great progress on the changing table. This week he will sand it all down and then begin urethaning it! Once the main part is urethaned he'll begin work on the drawers, door and securing the tops. It's beautiful.

Windmill

I've always been a fan of windmills and this one is featured on a farmstead that my dad and his siblings recently purchased. It was a perfect day for some outdoor photos so I thought I'd share.

Spring

The pond this morning as the sun was rising in the background. A little to late for the sunset but a nice view!

I Thought...

I thought it was supposed to be SPRING, not winter! I just heard the weather man say there was a chance for snow on Saturday. We were teased with the sun and warmer temperatures the past few days.

I thought I'd share some "SPRINGY" photos to help get us all prepared for what will come...someday, hopefully sooner than later. I can't wait to get out and take some photos!


I'm sure Heath can't wait to go fishing and actually catch some fish! He's tried, but no luck.

I may be looking for some water to cool off in by the time summer gets here!

I can't wait to see the flowers in bloom. First it'll have to dry up so we can plant them!

Doctor's Visit

We had a doctor's appointment yesterday. Everything seems to be on track. Heath and I both got to hear the heartbeat again which is always special! We set up our anatomy ultrasound appointment and I think we are both excited about that as well.

Baby Ploeger

Baby Ploeger seems to be growing therefore so is mommy! We visit the doctor again this week and while we are there we will set up an ultrasound to view the anatomy of our baby.



I think we are both getting excited as reality is beginning to set in. Before we were even expecting Heath had decided he wanted to build something for the baby's room. We decided on the changing table. He started gluing and screwing boards together this weekend. It's looking GREAT so far!



Heath is constructing this piece from walnut. It's going to look beautiful!

It seems that winter is still holding on. It has been great to see the sunshine the past several days, but the temperatures don't seem to be rising much! I can't wait for warmer weather. (Come July and August, I may regret saying that!)

I visited the doctor a couple weeks ago and everything seems to be going well. Baby Ploeger's heartbeat was easy to find and was in the 140s. I have officially been in the 2nd trimester now for a couple weeks. At the end of March we'll have an ultrasound to view the anatomy of our baby.
