5 Weeks

Kenzie is 5 weeks old today. She continues to enjoy eating, thus her little cheeks continue to grow. She is certainly working into her nickname of our "chunky monkey."

Occasionally we catch Kenzie smiling and she has begun to track and follow us/objects.

Yesterday we had the opportunity to have her pictures taken. I can't wait to see them.

4 Weeks

Kenzie visited the doctor for her 4 week appointment this week. She is definitely growing! Kenzie weighed in at 8 pounds 12 1/2 ounces and measured 21 inches long! She has adjusted well to sleeping at night. She usually only wakes up twice. This has been really nice for mom and dad to get some sleep! She also has found her love of the outdoors which both her mom and dad have. If she's fussy we simply take her outside and it's an instance of silence. She loves to swing too!

3 Weeks

I'm a little behind on blogging, but these photos were taken last Tuesday when Kenzie was 3 weeks old. Heath thinks she changes every day! I definitely can see some changes as she fills out! Kenzie continues to sleep pretty well at night as she is mastering her 3 hour schedule! We are thankful for this!

A K-State Cutie

Baby Kenzie was sporting her favorite team last night. Doesn't she look adorable in the pretty purple!

Kenzie Meets Her Cousins

Kenzie was able to meet her cousins this weekend. The girls seemed to bond especially well. It was great to see how each of them interacted with each other.

2 Weeks

Kenzie had her 2 week check-up this week and all is going well. Kenzie weighed 8lbs 1oz and was 20 inches long! Her bili levels continue to decrease and she has begun eating better and sleeping better too. We are working on a schedule for her and have been pretty successful during the day and the nights are good, most of the time!
