A Quack Quack Here...

Look real close and you'll see a mother duck and 4 ducklings next to the large bush. These creatures were spotted today at the Courthouse.

Here is a closer view of momma duck!

I had my doctor's appointment this morning. It was such a reassurance to hear the baby's heartbeat again! I am measuring right on time as well! After drinking that tasty orange drink, I even passed my glucose test!

Daniel has switched his tassel over and has officially graduated!
Daniel receiving his diploma. Notice representative Jerry Moran standing there as well. He was the speaker.

Congrats Daniel! You made it through another step in your life. Good luck and best wishes as you begin the next step in your journey! We love you.

Family Pictures

Here's a sneak peak of the many photos taken. Happy 40th Anniversary Larry and Katheryn!

Congratulations Daniel!

Today is a big day! My "little brother" graduates from Vo-Tech. We are so proud of him and all he has done. We wish him the very best as he joins the "real world" working full-time. Congratulations Brother! I love you!

25 weeks...

I am officially 25 weeks along now. Time has sure flown by thus far. I can't complain at all. We are very excited to meet our little one.
As you know, my summer will fly by with all my job responsibilities, so we decided to start working on the nursery. We have the crib put together, the rocker in place and the changing table is still a work in progress. Heath has to finish the drawers and then that will be ready to go. Below is a sneak peak at the bedding. It's called Sahara. I love the different fabrics used!

Week 4-Water

The waterfalls on the creek are beautiful most anytime of year. Here are a couple photos I captured.

Water--This is my favorite subject when it comes to water...the pond. I captured these photos on a very pretty spring day! I just love the sky! I hope you enjoy!

Happy Mother's Day!

Mother's are very special people and Heath and I certainly have two of the best Mother's around! Today we recognize them for all the things they do for us. One day of recognition doesn't do justice to what they deserve!

Thank you to our mom's for all you do and will do. We love you both!

Week 3--My hometown

This week my photo challenge was to capture some pictures of my hometown. Below is a photo of the Church in my hometown that I grew up in.
This is a picture of 'main' street in the middle of the afternoon. As you can see it's real hoppin'. The town may be small, but it has some very neat businesses. For example, there is an archery shop, bank, a lodge to stay overnight in, a cafe, a little bar and a welding shop, just to name a few.

Heath informed me last night that I haven't updated the blog in a week. So, I thought I better do this!
Softball season has officially begun, for Heath. He played in a Wood Bat Tourney this past weekend. I heard him and his teammates say many times how fun it was to play using only wood bats. It's certainly going to be hard for me to just sit out and watch him this year when it's something I greatly enjoy.
Also this weekend we worked on the nursery. We put the crib together and moved furniture in and out of the nursery. Heath has to finish the drawers on the changing table and then it'll be complete. (I'll post photos soon.)
Over the past week we also realized that time is flying by and will pick up speed over the next few weeks. As many of you know, with my job the summer is the busiest time of year. The first week of June I'll be with high school kids at a camp and the last week of June with elementary and middle school kids at camp. Then there's the fair in July and all that comes with that and then wouldn't you know it, it's August and time for the baby to arrive.
Speaking of the baby, well she continues to grow and has become more active. I can feel her kick a lot more. I go back to the doctor 2 weeks from Thursday.
