As many of you know, my mom was recently diagnosed with PNET, a rare brain tumor usually in children. Mom had surgery to remove most of the tumor, however, some still remains in the nerve and lining.
After doing many scans and tests, the doctors determined that the cancer is no where else in the body. PTL
Mom will begin radiation 5 days a week for 6 weeks and then chemo. Please continue to pray for her strength and for all of us as she goes through these treatments.
Mom is a very strong lady and I know she'll fight like a champ!

Miss Kenzie is 10 months old today!
Here are some things about her...
She loves to be outside, especially with Max.
She'll eat any kind of baby food and has started on a little table food.
She's started holding on to a stuffed monkey.
She still doesn't sleep through the night.
She's about 20 pounds and wearing 12 month clothes.
She loves water whether it's the bath tub or in our pool.
She's always happy!
She can wave bye-bye, hold her hand to her ear to talk on the phone and DANCE.
She likes to hear herself, especially squealing!
Time has gone fast. We love you Kenzie!

Update:
Kenzie got to spend last week with me at Discovery Days. This is a week long 4-H event for high school youth. She was great!
This weekend, with the help of some friends, we put up out swimming pool. This is the first year for us to have a pool, but we think we'll all enjoy it very much!
My mom is doing well. She gets out and about for a while each day. We go back to KU Med on Friday and hope to find out some answers. Please continue to pray.
The Brown County Fair is just around the corner so I have begun to get busier at work.
Kenzie enjoys playing with the other kids at daycare and has really become mobile. She crawls wherever she wants to go and isn't afraid to pull herself up!
She has 4 teeth and loves to eat. She prefers baby food over her bottles, but I don't give in!
Stay cool, it's a scorcher!
