10 Weeks Old

Miss Kenzie is 10 weeks old today! Yesterday she had her 2 month shots. She seemed to handle them pretty well. She was a little fussy, but by evening she was back to her happy little self. I took full advantage of this and had a 'photo shoot.' Here are just a few:Kenzie has on the outfit that her cousin Kaylee wore home from the hospital when she was born.

Daddy isn't much for hats, but this was one of his favorite photos we took. Isn't she a doll?

Mommy likes this one best. The hat is one that my high school classmate's mom made. She makes all sorts of fun things for little girls.

...and this one is adorable too. I may be a little partial though! :)

Kenzie continues to talk and smile. She is now reaching for things and loves to hold on to her blanket or rings. Her hair is beginning to fill in on top, but she has worn away some of her hair in the back. She's been sleeping real well at night too. Both mommy and daddy are thankful for this!

2 months

9 weeks

Our little angel continues to grow each day. She melts our hearts with her smiles and coos.

Kenzie had her 2 month check up this morning. She weighed 10 pounds 7.75 oz (50th %) and was 23 1/4 inches long (90th %)! She continues to sleep well and eats regularly. She's starting to lose some of her hair in the back but continues to have a think stand in the low back. Some say it looks a little curly in the back too. We'll see!

8 Weeks

Our baby girl is 8 weeks old today! She was full of smiles this morning so I took complete advantage of this! I have started back to work this week and we are all adjusting well. Kenzie is in good hands while her mommy and daddy are at work and we enjoy playing and cuddling when we can!

It's certainly been a while since I've blogged. Kenzie is growing up very quickly. She continues to eat and sleep well. She has really started smiling and it's not random anymore. She also has begun "talking" more too. She enjoys watching things like ceiling fan and tv. Being outside and riding in the car calms her too. In the past 2 days she has found her hand and much to our demise her thumb. Whenever we see her inserting it, we quickly remove it. We'd rather her take a pacifier.
