Someone's 30!!

Happy 30th Birthday to Heath today! We celebrated a little early with our friends and family. A lady I work with made this awesome cake.

Big News

We are happy to announce that we are expecting our first child in mid August. We are both very excited and overjoyed by the support that has been given by all our family and friends!
Things have been going well so far. I started of a little rocky, but things have calmed down and are going well. Last week Heath and I had the opportunity to participate in my first ultrasound. Here we got to see the size of our baby (right on track) and hear the heart beat (163 bpm).

It seems like we've seen snow for a month straight and I think we are getting close. I decided to make the best of it and take some photos. Lately the reoccurring fog had been frozen on the trees some mornings which makes for pretty shots.

Don't get me wrong...I am counting down to spring!

This weekend was a weekend full of emotions. The BIG auction was this weekend. I went to the auction knowing that the piece of furniture that I dreamed of having was going to be sold to someone else because it was in great shape and a popular style and they'd certainly be the highest bidder. Well I was wrong! Heath and I brought home the oak china cabinet and it fits nicely in our dinning room. I am so grateful that we were able to make the purchase. I will always have a piece of Grandma and Grandpa with me at meal time!

It's a Tropical Heat Wave

Looking outside I see snow...snow...and more snow. We've hit record amounts for the area and we still have a lot of winter left. However, this week seems to look good. Temperatures as predicted to be above freezing! I hope the roads get cleared.

This weekend brings a lot of emotions. My grandfather is having an auction to sell some household goods that he no longer needs since my grandma passed away in June. I have so many great memories of my grandparents. Between now and Saturday there will be a run of emotions going through me I have a feeling!
