I {Love} Summer!

 Kenzie loves the pool and the water. She is now going under and keeping her mouth shut. She loves jumping off the slide and going under.

 We added 3 new members to our family a couple weeks ago! Kenzie has loved having these new friends. Last night she was carrying them around and really playing with them. Before she just wanted to pet them and watch them. She loves to watch them play on our deck.

 Kenzie and I participated in a graffiti 5K a couple weeks ago. Kenzie loved getting paint on her! This last weekend I went to KC with a couple ladies from work and we did The Color Run. It too was a lot of fun. We had a lot of color blasted on us!

Kenzie and I got to participate in a community block party. The excitement was having her face painted. Her daycare was doing this as a fundraiser and since I am on their board, I got to help with it too!

Kenzie: Besides playing with her kitties, she has started a new daycare, become potty trained, began playing more independently and for longer periods of time and talks a lot more! Her speech is clearer too.

Heath: His summer is based around softball and fishing which he seems to do a lot of!  The weather has been decent. We get a lot of rain at one time and then it dries up some before we get more. He told me that his potatoes were blooming in the garden and we have had radishes and lettuce so far.

Jen: I have been busy with work and running from events and meetings. This week I start classes. This will be different for me. Luckily it is just a 9 week program, but I haven't been to school for a while.

We'll be supporting my mom in the Relay for Life this weekend! Mom has been free of cancer now for 2 years! PTL
