Get Well and I love you!

Kenzie really started crawling this weekend. She gets where she wants pretty good. However, if there is carpet anywhere near, she'll be there. She loves to grab the carpet and try to eat it! It's a good thing we have wood floors, but the area rug in the living room may have to disappear for a while!

Grandma taught Kenzie how to stand and look in her toy box. It won't be long until she's in the toy box.

Girl Time

This weekend Kenzie had some time with her cousins (and Aunt & Uncle) from the south. Kenzie enjoyed having "girl time" on Sunday afternoon. A lesson on how to use Kenzie's play Camera.

Kenzie moves all around in her walker. Kaylee was showing her how to steer and push all of the buttons! Oh the fun these girls will have as they grow up together!

Funny Baby

9 Months

Our baby girl is 9 months old today! It's so hard to believe how fast time really does go by. We enjoy every moment with this little girl. She truly is a blessing!

Kenzie spends a lot of time in this position. She just took her first crawling "steps" last night. She made it about 2 feet and then collapsed. It won't be long before she's going everyone.

Kenzie continues to be a very happy baby.

Kenzie loves these biter biscuits. It entertained her for 35 minutes the other night. After it was gone, we went straight to the bathtub!

It was a great joy to celebrate my 1st Mother's Day with Kenzie. We all had lunch after Church at my Grandma's house. My brother grilled pork chops for us and we all ate way to much.

Happy Mother's Day to all the Mothers! Last week a friend of mine came over and took some pictures of Kenzie. Kenzie was tired, but she did a pretty good job. Donna did great at capturing some precious smiles. These are just a couple!

37 Weeks

Kenzie is almost 9 months old and it's so hard to believe. Time has flown by. Right now she is teething like crazy. She has two bottom teeth, but I think she's working on a top tooth. She hasn't started crawling yet, but I don't think it'll be too long. She started a different daycare this week and the baby (1 week older than Kenzie) crawls all over. Kenzie can't keep up, but she's close.
If you look closely you'll notice Kenzie's little mohawk. Her hair is starting to come in. I think it's going to be about my color, not as dark as we thought at first.
Kenzie loves being outside. She gets excited when she sees Max and loves to swing or go for walks in her stroller.
I had shingles a few weeks ago so we are praying that Miss K doesn't get Chicken Pox. She's still too young for the vaccine.

Crazy Vacation

Last week our family decided to take a little vacation. We started out going to Silver Dollar City, then to visit family in Arkansas, then home for a few days and then to the Arbor Day Tree Farm and the Omaha Zoo.

Kenzie had a lot of firsts...first train ride, first zoo ride, first time dying Easter Eggs, etc. We had hoped to go swimming for the first time in one of the motels, but even the 'heated pools' weren't very heated! Oh well, summer is coming!
